Suwit: Another stupid Thai Speaks Out

Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suwit Khunkitti said on Thursday he will take his time to explain fully to all 21 members of the World Heritage Committee why Thailand wants a review of the decision to register Cambodia’s Preah Vihear temple as a World Heritage site.

Why don’t you take time to educate your people to love your neighbors and respect the soveriegnty of other country, instead of going to Spain and claim for what historically doesn’t belong to you? Well, you may tell Unesco straight away that you want to rob Preah Vihear again or at least you want to share the cake with Cambodia. (more…)

Hok Lundy, the former number 1 of the Cambodian police, on the post since 1994, 58 years old and a 4 star general, died on November 9th, 2008 in a helicopter crash when he flew from Phnom Penh to his native province of Svay Rieng. The three other passengers of the aircraft were the deputy commander of the land army forces, Sok Sa Em, and the 2 pilots. All of them died. (more…)

Hun Sen: The Coward and Weak Leader of Cambodia

Are we all equal before the law according to our constitution in Charpter II, article 31, point 2 on “The rights and obligation of Khmer citizens”? Of course not,  because Hun Sen is privileged in the case of defamation suit sued by MP Mu Sochau.

“The court does not belong to the Council of Ministers. If a poor person or I am forced to go to the court, the prime minister must go to the court as well. If the court is just, it must be balanced,” said MP Mu Sochau(more…)

The Coward Leader Hun Sen and the Kangaroo Court of Cambodia

Mu Sochau, the member of parliament for Kompot province, is facing the immunity striff off by the majority (un-Cambodian) parliamentarians of Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and supported by the kangaroo court.

“The issue of lifting [Mu Sochua's] immunity has been included in the agenda for this session of the Permanent Committee, and a decision will come on June 22, when the Assembly will [decide whether to] adopt” the committee’s recommendations, senior Cambodian People’s Party lawmaker Cheam Yeap told the Post Monday.  (more…)

Angkor Wat Light or Lie?

These few weeks the most disturbing and untolerable news that has stirred up my life day and night is concerning the Angkor Wat light decoration aiming at attracting more tourists to the country during the global economic crisis initiated by Apsara Authority.

Can this equipped light attaract more tourists to Angkor Wat and Cambodia as a whole while a leader of a country is incompetent to lead a country with transparency,  security, stability, human right respects, and yet committing corruption and dependent on alm and submitting to neigboring countries?  (more…)
