Who is the traitor of Cambodia? Sam Rainsy or Hun Sen?

with 6 comments

The border markers in Svay Rieng and other border markers along the border with Vietnam were planted in accordance with 2005 supplementary treaty which ceded our land to Vietnam. This treaty was extracted from 1985 illegal border treaty signed by Hun Sen under Vietnam’s occupation in 1980s. This treaty is contrary to 1991 Paris Peace Agreement and the article 55 of the Cambodian Constitution. Border treaties 1982, 1983 &1985 were signed by Hun Sen during Vietnam’s occupation in 1980s and those who opposed 2005 supplementary treaty were imprisoned and fled to Norway and Sweden.

It’s strange for Hun Sen’s government now because someone defending Cambodian territory is a traitor and someone ceding land to neighboring country is a patriot. However, the history of the next generation will provide justice for someone who defends Cambodian territories and someone who cedes our land to foreign country (Sam Rainsy and Hun Sen). I’m sure that the history of the next generation will list Hun Sen as a traitor of Cambodia who ceded Cambodia’s land to Vietnam and the independent court of the next generation will bring Hun Sen to justice.

Traitor is defined as “person who betrays his/her country” (Manser, 1991, p. 441). Therefore, Hun Sen is a Traitor of Cambodia who ceded our land to Vietnam and Sam Rainsy is a Patriot of Cambodia who defends Cambodian territories.

Cambodia must use the maps deposited at the UN by then-Prince Norodom Sihanouk in 1964.

  1. Hun Sen is a Vietnamese puppet…One time Khmer Rouge COMMANDER, he fled to Vietnam as he was scared for his skinny ass. If you analyse the decisions of his dictatorship you will see that he is still serving his masters in hanoi and serving them well.
Remember the WHOLE of southern Vietnam across to present day Phan Thiet USED to be Cambodia up until 300 years ago….
The Vnese dont need to steal anymore land while ex-KR Hun Sen is in power and following the instructions of his puppet masters in Hanoi

  2. Yes,there’s enough evidence which shows that that South Vietnam once belonged to Cambodia.Like Britain once were the Lords of USA and Spain owned most of central and south america. And Singapore once belonged to the Malays.

    That’s History now.

But then again, without Vietnam’s intervention Cambodia would have vanished from the earth under Pol Pot’s year Zero experiment. It was not the Viets who bombed and mined Cambodia and Laos.

It was the colonial masters, the French and the US.The US, which ran from Nam with their tails between their legs, stood idly by when the Khmer Rouge terrorised and brutalised the country from 1975 to 1979.

Always give credit when it’s due. Then work to reach a settlement.

The whole philosophy of life and governance is to give your citizens a better life.Hun Sen won’t be around for long.

Like the Hitler and Stalin era in Europe.
