Never Stop Mockering!
November 14, 2009Welcome to Siam`s Termination of the 2001- MOU
November 7, 2009With the overeaction against Cambodia, the Thai government has decided to terminate the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 2001 with Cambodia on Cambodia-Thailand Agreement for common exploitation of hydrocarbons.
Practically, I would like to express my great pleasure upon hearing this and warmly welcome this decision of the Thai government. Why?
Because if this 2001-MOU is determinated, Cambodia will have the full rights to apply the Siamese-French treaties 1907 without obstruction. On the other hand, if the 2001-MON is still active and recognized, most of the Cambodian benefits will be lost to that of Thailand as stated by the Cambodia’s Border Committee (CBC) as follows: (more…)
STATEMENT of SAMRAINSY PARTY
November 5, 2009I am surprised to see my name associated with the name of Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra of Thailand on his appointment as an adviser to Cambodia’s government led by Mr. Hun Sen. It would never come to my mind to serve a foreign government that is at odds with my own country. All my time and resources are and will be exclusively devoted to serving and defending my sacred motherland Cambodia.

Soy Sopheap: He Has Money, But Not Dignity
October 16, 2009The news is about the who is “Responsible for NhemVandoeun“, the man who works extra at the department of public work and transportation in Phnom Penh responsible for licensing and releasing the number plates for transportation in the Capital City of Phnom Penh and was recently arrested on the alleged corruption committed with his extra job. Please read the full article in khmer at DAP.
In the news, Soy Sopheap proudly boasted the govt´s intolerable policy to abolish the corruption with punishment wihout being biased with strong and strict law enforcement. The article continues to say that the case of Nhem Vandoeun will be extended to his brother, because wihout his brother´s support, Nhem Vandoeun cannot commit such a corruption which takes away millions of dollar of state´s income.
The Soy Sopheap also sensed the public´s point of views that, ” No mattter how rich Nhem Vandoeun is, he surely has no value, dignity, honor, and pride comparing to the poor-farmers“. (more…)
Is That How Hun Sen Rules the Country?
October 4, 2009I just have read the news posted on DAP today related to Hun Sen´s order to stop corruption committed by the border authority at Poy Pet International border gate efter he has just started to wake up that such an action would suffer the Cambodian people who make their daily living at the border through carrying out goods from Thailand.

Thai Arguments to Claim Khmer Preah Vihear Temple and the Surrounding Land
October 3, 2009Since the conflicts have flared up between the two countries which caused by the reclaim of its right over the Preah Vihear temple and the land surroundings by Thailnd, the Thais always base their valid arguments on as the followings:
- The only accessible gate way to the Khmer Preah Vihear temple is made on the Thai soil. So the temple must be joint-listed.
- To make the temple really becomes the World Heritage site, the temple must be listed with all other sunbordinates that are now exist in the Thai soil and the temple must be co-managed between Thailand and Cambodia.
- The verdict of International Court of Justice (ICJ) in 1962 gives Cambodia only the temple, but not the surounding land.
- The ICJ did not demarcate the border line between the two countries, so the orderline is not known and the 4.6km square is not clear to which country it belongs.
- The Frencch made-map has a problem, because the map has its basis on the wathershed of the two countries as the borderlines, but the case of Preah Vihear temple it does not follow the wathershed at all, so Thailand must disagree with it.
- The wathershed of the two countries has been changed gradually due to the geographical change caused by the environment, so the new agreement to redemarcate of the two countries´s borderlines must be set by the Thais to reasured its rights according to the watershed basis.
- The map made by the France that controlled Cambodia is considered as biased and unfair. With this, Thailand must reject it.
These are the arguments that I have collected on many forums argued by the Thais. So please all beloved Cambodians voice your words to counterargue with the Thais. Your counterarguments will become invaluable contributions of knowledge for our compatriot to equip themselves with effetive information.
In Sodarity
Notice: My counterargument will be posted later.
Is Cambodia a Province of Thailand or Is Thailand a Province of Cambodia?

Sovannaphumi is just a name of an airport
July, 2009
§1.
“Suvaṇṇabhūmi” is not just the name of an airport: it has been an important part of Thai propaganda for over 100 years. Today, the myth of “Suvaṇṇabhūmi” is used to claim that all of Cambodia, Laos and even Vietnam were formerly part of Thailand, but were later “lost” in a series of wars. This article presents a series of facts about the real history of Southeast Asia. The original text was written in simplified English, intended for translation.
Many Thai people alive today heard about “Suvaṇṇabhūmi” from their grandparents, so they assume this is a very old idea. Many Thai people grew up hearing propaganda that their ancient homeland was in Yunnan (a province in China, north of Laos) –but then the message changed. Sometimes the government tells them the ancient homeland is “here” in this ancient kingdom called “Suvaṇṇabhūmi”, sometimes they say it is in Shan State (now part of Burma), sometimes in Southern China or even further north than China, in Mongolia. Sometimes the government tells them to hate the Burmese, sometimes the Chinese, sometimes Cambodians. They told their people to hate and fear Communists, but (at the same time) they supported the Khmer Rouge. The result is that Thai people are genuinely confused about their own history. (more…)
Opinion: Bangkok Post Needs a Reality Check

In view of Siam quarrel over Cambodia rights to speak for and defend its property, apparently Bangkok Post misspoke and mischaracterized Khmer nation. Two wrongs can’t be right.
I agree with Bangkok Post and find Hun Sen words are intolerable and unnecessary in dealing with so called modern Siam country. As human endowed with rights to express true feeling, Hun Sen appears to speak his mind in full graphic. But Hun Sen wasn’t highly educated and rooted out from noble clans. (more…)

Veera also threatened to take legal action against officials condoning the encroachment.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said his government was trying to resolve border problems via the legal process and not force.
Former premier Thaksin Shinawatra said on Twitter that Preah Vihear actually does belong to Cambodia by a decision of the International Court of Justice.
Thaksin has the right thinking related to Preah Vihear issue. I think all of Thai people should listen to him for the sake of peace and development in the region. (more…)

Who Will Be Struck by Lightning?
September 13, 2009Cambodian people were shot, wounded and burned alive by Siam brutal soldiers after they entered Thailand for logging for their survival because of poverty. The news really shocks my heart.
If we remember this month about the curse of the gangster leader Hun Sen who warned his critics that they would be struck by lightning if they dared to suggest his leadership was plunging the country into poverty.
“[They] say Cambodia is getting poorer and poorer, but aren’t they
afraid of being struck by lightning?” he said and adding that, “If you dare to say it and be struck by lightning, go ahead.” (more…)
Hun Sen´s Son Really Gets Scholarship?
September 13, 2009It is another cheating news posted by Dap News which aimed to boost Hun Sen´s credit by his sycophant – Soy Sopheap. I think Hun Sen´s son ís not that smart. I mean he is not recieving a scholarship from the USA military university, but instead he gets the FS -Family Scholarship, to study at that university. Well, Hun Sen can send his sons or daughters to study anywhere on earth if he wants, as we know about his richness. (more…)

September 13, 2009It is not new about the news of high ranking Cambodian leaders or Chhumteav handing out gifts or alm to poor people or soldiers.
This one seems interesting like before but so unusual and I can´t help writing to enlight it to the public.

Gasoline Price in Cambodia is Cheaper Than in France: Stupid Hun Sen
August 8, 2009
It is laughable to listen to the news on RFA about what Hun Sen said on gasoline price comparing the gasoline price between Cambodia and France. He said that Cambodia really has a cheaper gasoline price than that of France. In Cambodia, a litter of gasoline cost only $ 1, whearas in France it costs from $1.70 to $1.80. With this, Hun Sen lauded his admiration to the local gasoline companies which are able to maintain the stable price for the market, claiming as better than those of foriegner companies. (more…)
Who Rules Thailand?
July 26, 2009As the border conflicts with Cambodia continue, the official meetings have been conducted many times between the two countries´s top leaders ranging from top national leaders to regional leaders, head of the exeutive body, head of the legislative body, and local commanders, in order to peacify the border conflicts, however, all of the meetings have become just a political show-off and completely a waste of time. Former Ven. Tim Sakhorn arrived in Sweden in 3 July 2009 at 3pm at Örnsköldsvik airport. He now lives in Örnsköldsvik city. He feels homesick and of course the weather is still cold even though it is summer. It is hard for him to stand with such a cold weather in Sweden. Our Khmer people here welcomed his arrival and everyone is happy to see him. He is not alone here.
