Khmer Empire since 3600 BC
Today I get so moved by Mr. Pondinarith KIM, Khmer Engineer, who designed a very interesting website publishing the Khmer Empire Maps from 3600BC until today. And the most important thing besides the very informative maps is his message in his website as he writes:
The Khmer Empire Nation was born from at lease 5600 years ago, (within 3600 years before Christian Era). After our verification from all of the official documents, The Khmer Nation has at lease 2000 years experiences of war successfull story, at lease 100 years of diplomatic success story, and at lease 2000 years of prosperity, shining culture, shining civilization, and shining history from year 500 B.C. before Christian Era to year 1500 A.D. of our era now. Basing on these historical successfull stories, foreign contries that would like to invade Cambodia today is seemingly not an easy action, they will be destroyed by Khmer People and khmer soldiers have a lot experience of war in the field.
